But the world celebrates your hijabiness, femaleness,
Somaliness, Muslimness
We have worked together on the free Black Panther show
Children needed to see a black actress on the screen too
We have worked together on the youths in prison
We awarded you at the One Love Gala our mother’s Lyla Ali
award
Because that is what we should do for our daughters of this
Ummah
They deserve more for their humanitarian work without
rewards
Burnt in the harsh sun of Africa
We will share your legacy to empower girls across the globe
