Memory
I cling to those pictures
Etched like a prisoner in the Nazi camps
Wrecking havoc on my ocean of crippled emotions
Watch the birds soar in winter
How the hell have that heart survived so much snow?
Turn away
Wait a century
Send a card in search of your nightly dreams
Maybe your father is buried in the psyche of lost treasures!
